It’s extremely sunny in Colorado. It’s unbearable in the summertime, but very welcomed during the fall and winter. I love the beams of sunlight coming through the windows of my house, tracing triangular shapes across the walls and floors throughout the day. I tried to capture this in this quilt, with a nod to the artist Esther Stewart, hand quilted accents, and two-toned binding.
